San Diego, CA – A former San Diego police officer who touched women inappropriately during pat-down searches surrendered in court Friday morning and was taken into custody.

Last week, a Superior Court judge ordered Christopher Hays to serve a year in county jail and placed him on probation for three years. Hays, 30, may be allowed to move to his home state of Arkansas while on probation, after completing his local jail time.
