Case Spotlight: Not Guilty Verdict Secured for Former Border Patrol Agent

After a weeklong trial in San Diego’s Central Courthouse, the jury deliberated for less than two hours before returning “not guilty” on all counts.

The prosecution alleged that the defendant, Juan Angel Prishker, had acted inappropriately toward two women — one a migrant detainee and another a migrant aid worker. But throughout the trial, inconsistencies in testimony and credibility issues surfaced, casting significant doubt on the claims.

Defense attorney Kerry L. Armstrong and his team meticulously examined every detail of the evidence and witness statements. Their strategy focused on exposing contradictions, unreliable testimony, and the lack of corroborating evidence.
